Cuban actor Joel Angelino will give a monologue on Thursday 13th at Cultura de Bar, a venue located in Calle Unamuno in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Angelino lives seasonally on the island of Tenerife. His first major success and breakthrough as an actor was his co-starring role in the Cuban film Fresa y Chocolate. So far he has participated in six films, among them: El Misterio Galíndez, I Love You Baby and Quiéreme y verás.
In the series Monólogos para Llevar of the new project Cultura de Bar, he will offer an intervention under the title Versos con Joel Angelino. The event will begin at 19:00.
A theatre, film and television actor, he graduated from the National School of Performing Arts in Havana, Cuba and from the Pantomime School of the Paris Opera Theatre (Marcel Marceau). He has worked with directors such as Carlos Saura, Daniel Díaz Torres, Vicente Molina Foix, Jesús Bonilla and Gerardo Herrero. He has also published two books.
