The Tenerife Music Festival debuted with great success in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, attracting more than 30,000 people in its first edition. The event, organised by newEvent and Farra World, included the participation of international artists such as Marc Anthony, Mikel Izal and Vetusta Morla, who created a spectacular atmosphere on the two nights of the festival.
The venue located in the facilities of the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife registered an entry of 23,000 spectators on Saturday, according to the organisers. The dj Bobby Bob gave way to St. Pedro from Tenerife, finalist of the programme La Voz in 2017 and participant in the last edition of the Benidorm Fest, a top event from which the candidature for the Eurovision Song Contest is chosen.
The group Efecto Pasillo took over the good vibes in the capital of Tenerife well into the afternoon, making the audience sing along with well-known songs such as 'Contigo' and 'Pan con mantequilla', which has become part of the repertoire of national commercial music in recent years.
Marc Anthony's performance, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the evening, brought Saturday's first day to a close.
The second night included outstanding performances by Delaporte, Rozalén and La Oreja de Van Gogh, each bringing their unique style to the stage. With a festive atmosphere from the opening by Juana La Cubana, the festival proved to be a resounding success, consolidating itself as an eagerly awaited event in the capital of Tenerife.
