Camilo has sold out his concert in Tenerife, his first on the island with the Canarian production company newEvent. On Saturday 15th June, the singer and songwriter from Medellín, Colombia, now living in Miami, will perform his hits at the Campo de Golf Costa Adeje as part of the Nuestro Lugar Feliz Tour.
Camilo's music has evolved, incorporating elements of reggaeton, reggae, rap and oriental sounds, as shown in one of his videos from a few months ago, "Palpita", in collaboration with Diljit Dosanjh, which mixes Spanish with Panjabi, an Indo-European language spoken in India.
During his short career - with a unique image featuring a Dalí moustache - he has created super successful songs such as: "Vida de rico", "Tutú", "Bebé", "Ropa cara" and "Machu Pichu", which will also be played in Tenerife. Winner of five Latin Grammy Awards, he is one of the most established artists of his generation in Latin music, with more than five billion plays on digital platforms, 21 million followers on Instagram and 13 million subscribers on YouTube. He rose to fame in 2008 after participating in the X Factor.
In 2010, he released his first album "Tráfico de sentimientos", followed by "Por primera vez" in 2020 and "Mis manos" in 2021, which includes hits such as "Vida de Rico" and "Bebé". His latest work, "Cuatro", features collaborations with artists such as Evaluna Montaner, Clarín León, Edgar Barrera, Mau y Ricky Montaner, and Morelli. Camilo is married to Evaluna Montaner, daughter of Argentine-Venezuelan singer Ricardo Montaner.
